COPY NODES KEYFRAMES (Lite) - Blender Add-on

Duplicate any node with keyframes, Drivers and Links. Are you tired of copying any node, and have to manually copy and paste the keyframes? With Drivers you must modify the variable path manually for each Driver. Insane! You will save a lot of time with Copy Nodes Keyframes.

NOTE!!!

Lite version has not Shortcut key, does not support more than 1 node at the same time, it only copies the last fCurve added to the node and does not work with groups, or RGB/XYZ attributes.

Even with that restrictions, any node with only one attribute keyframed will work perfectly, saving you a lot of time.

Support for Blender 3.3 +.

  • Duplicate any node with keyframes, drivers and links.
  • Duplicate selected nodes (all at once).
  • Duplicate any group with keyframes.
  • Duplicate groups that have nodes with drivers and get rid of modify anything.
  • 2 shortcuts. CTRL+D for normal behavior, and CTRL+G to duplicate linked.Known Issues.

Why I created CNK?

When you need to duplicate a node with its keyframes, it's ok to follow the "regular" way (I do not understand why it is not yet implemented). Duplicate the node, copy keyframes from original nodes, and paste them into the new one. But what when you need, let's say, to duplicate 10 nodes at the same time? You duplicate them, and one by one you must go through the "regular steps". What a waste of time...

How to use it?

- In any node editor (Compositing, Shader and Geometry Nodes) select one or more nodes with animation data (Keyframes, Drivers, Links).

- Press CTRL+D / OSKey+D to duplicate them, and preserve animation data.

- Or press CTRL+G / OSKey+G to duplicate them linked.

For group nodes that contains nodes with drivers, once duplicated the data path variable will be modified to match the new group node.

In the Sidebar you will find a button with the same functionality. And another button to visit Documentation wiki.

Thats all!

How to install this add-on:

  • Download the zip file.
  • Open Blender and go to Edit - Preferences
  • Go to Add-ons Tab.
  • Press Install button, and search for the downloaded zip file.
  • Select it and press Install
  • Just click the box to enable it and you are ready to go.

Hope you enjoy it!!!
